Connect to Kindergarten Night

Tuesday, March 10, 2026 | 6:00 PM

Join us for our first event designed especially for incoming kindergarten families. You’ll learn what to expect in kindergarten, hear an overview of our school and the Alameda community, meet our kindergarten staff, and visit classrooms.

 

Please note: This event is adults only.

What you can expect:

• Overview of kindergarten (daily routines, learning focus, and readiness)

• Introduction to our school community

• Meet-and-greet with kindergarten teachers and staff

• Classroom visits

Who Should Attend?

This event is intended for parents/guardians of incoming kindergarten students. Adults only, please.

ENROLL ONLINE

Registration for 2026-27 Kindergarten will open February 28, 2026!

Visit pps.net/enroll for information on enrolling your student for Kindergarten.

 

You can register online if ALL of the following apply:

• Your child is NEW to PPS

• Your students did NOT attend a PPS Pre-K locations: Boise-Eliot/Humboldt, Clarendon, Creston Annex, Dr. MLK Jr, Faubion, Grout, Jason Lee, Kelly, Marysville, Lent, Rosa Parks, Sacajawea, Sitton, Whitman, Woodlawn

• Your student does NOT have an IFSP and did NOT receive services from Multnomah Early Childhood Program (MECP)

• You are enrolling your child in your neighborhood school and NOT a CBO/Charter

• You have an email address and access to a computer
