Annual Culturally Specific Food Drive
All are Welcome and Encouraged to Participate!
January 6 - February 11 - Alameda Cafeteria

Alameda Lunar New Year Food Drive
In celebration of the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse, Alameda students are coming together to support our community through a culturally specific food drive.

In Lunar New Year traditions, the Horse represents strength, perseverance, kindness, and forward movement—values our students are embodying by giving back and caring for others.

Our 5th graders and the Alameda Library are leading this effort and collecting donations to support elderly members of the Community for Positive Aging, helping ensure access to familiar and meaningful foods during the holiday season.
How to Participate
-
Donate culturally specific grocery items
-
Place donations in the collection boxes located in classrooms
-
Donations will be accepted January 6 through February 11
Thank you for supporting our students as they practice leadership, generosity, and cultural awareness while making a real impact in our community.
